Smash the Silos! (...and break through those silent barriers that are preventing your learning and change initiatives  from sticking!)

Organizational silos may be making your life as a Learning and Development Professional more  difficult than it needs to be! During this 60 minute high energy interactive virtual workshop,  Organizational Development, Training and Development and Talent Management professionals  will:

1) Learn what silos are, why they still exist and how they impact every area of the  organization they are trying to make a difference in.

2) Dive into the four buckets of organizational health that drive business success and learn how they may be a breeding ground for silos which, if not attended to, can silently and  negatively impact the ability to drive improvement.

3) Leave with immediately actionable ideas to begin naming, claiming and clearing the silos  so they can finally see the rewards of their hard work and help other organizational  leaders to do the same.

Every L&D Professional has been put into the situation where they are charged with fixing a  poor performing employee or department in their organization. Perhaps it is a person or  department that is totally unaware of how negatively they are perceived by others or are constantly a source of chaos and confusion for both you and the other departments who need  them to get their work done. A person or department that is reluctant to share skills, talent,  knowledge and information with others can be a big source of pain for you when you are tasked  with driving organizational improvement efforts. Instead of sending in a coach to “fix” them,  perhaps it is time to consider if silos are the source of your problems. Often, it is because the  presence and acceptance of silos and silo thinking are prevalent and even flourishing. Silos and  silo thinking create barriers to learning, effective communication and change throughout your  organization causing a ripple of negativity. If left unchecked, these silos will taint your culture  and result in behaviors that cause inconsistency, inefficiency and isolation…the exact opposite  of the organizational transformation you are striving towards.

Organizational silos will and do create havoc for you, your employees and your leaders. Let’s  finally take the steps to smash the silos that are negatively impacting your ability to do your  best work!
